Privacy notice

How Activ8IT BV handles personal data submitted through this website.

Last updated: 12 August 2026

Who is responsible

Activ8IT BV, Kruisstraat 6, 3294 Diest, Belgium, VAT BE 0603.992.769, is the controller for the personal data described here. For any question about this notice or to exercise the rights set out below, write to info@activ8it.be.

What is collected

This website collects personal data in one place only: the contact form. When it is submitted, the following is processed.

  • Name — required, so the reply can be addressed.
  • Organisation — optional.
  • Email address — required, so a reply can be sent.
  • Message — whatever is written in it.

Nothing else is collected. The site sets no cookies, uses no analytics, builds no visitor profile, and does not track browsing across sites or sessions.

Why, and on what basis

Anything you send is used for one purpose: to read the enquiry and respond to it. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in answering an enquiry that was voluntarily sent (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), and where the enquiry concerns a possible engagement, taking steps at the sender's request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Submissions are never used for marketing, never added to a mailing list, and never sold, rented or shared for anyone else's purposes.

Where it goes

A submission is delivered as an email to info@activ8it.be, a mailbox hosted on Microsoft 365 within the European Union. The message is stored there for as long as it is useful to the correspondence, and deleted when it no longer is — in any event within 24 months of the last exchange, unless it has become part of a contractual record that must be retained longer.

Processors

Two providers are involved in operating this site.

  • Microsoft — website hosting and the mailbox that receives enquiries. Data is held in the European Union.
  • Cloudflare — the Turnstile check on the contact form, which distinguishes people from automated submissions. It runs only on the contact page. Turnstile sets no tracking cookie and is not used to profile visitors; it processes technical signals from the browser to score the interaction. Cloudflare acts as a processor under an agreement incorporating the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

No other third party receives data from this site. Fonts are self-hosted, and there are no advertising, analytics or social media components on any page.

Rights

Under the GDPR, anyone whose data has been sent may request access to it, correction of it, erasure of it, restriction of its processing, or object to the processing, and may request a copy in a portable form. Write toinfo@activ8it.be and the request will be handled within one month.

There is also a right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données), Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels — gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be.

Changes

If the way this site handles personal data changes, this notice is updated and the date at the top of the page changes with it.
